Have you changed addresses?  Are you a new student in Massachusetts?  Are you turning 18 before September 14?

No matter what the reason, make sure that you update your voter registration by tomorrow to have your voice heard in the Democratic Primary election on September 14.

Voter registration forms must be postmarked or turned in to your local City or Town Clerk by the deadline, tomorrow, Wednesday August 25, 2010Your Clerk’s office will be open until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, so be sure to get in and complete your voter registration after work tomorrow if you’re unable to do so sooner.

If you can’t make it in person, you can complete, print, and mail the National Voter Registration form, but be sure to sned it to your Your Town or City Clerk’s office as there will not be time for it to be received by the Secretary of the Commonwealth and mailed to your municipality.  You’re registration must be postmarked to your Town or City Clerk by tomorrow.  For more information, visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website.

Make sure you’re able to support your candidate and show politicians that young people vote by getting registered today.  YDM is excited to have endorsed a strong slate of candidates this year, and we hope you’ll be able to join us at the polls to give them your support!

And one other important reminder about tomorrow: don’t forget to join YDM and other supporters for an evening with Gov. Deval Patrick for Communities Connecting Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 6:30 PM at Royale (Formerly the Roxy) 279 Tremont Street Boston.  You can maximize your impact by reserving your ticket today as a YDM Victory 2010 Supporter, Champion, or Superstar so part of your event donation goes toward supporting YDM, too!

Governor Deval Patrick will be hosting an "End of Summer" Celebration in Boston bringing together a diverse group of people from across the Commonwealth who are committed to moving Massachusetts forward.  The Young Democrats of Massachusetts are proud to support the Governor and we look forward to uniting with a wide cross-section of constituents to celebrate the Governor’s accomplishments while striving toward his reelection. There will be refreshments, entertainment, and great people. This event is 18+ with music by DJ Val Beats.

RSVP by ordering your tickets below.

Hope I see you tomorrow (and if I do, I hope you’re able to tell me your voter registration is up to date!)
