Merrimack Valley Young Democrats

The Merrimack Valley Young Democrats was founded in January, 2011 by local activists Christopher Jenkins, Robert Gignac, and Eunice Delice, MVYD serves Young Democrats living across the Merrimack River Valley from cities like Lowell and Lawrence to the oceanside community of Newburyport. Its purpose is to support Democratic Party principles while representing the underrepresented youth voice within the party establishment.

While all are invited to participate in our events, our membership consists of democrats under the age 36 – and to vote or run in our elections, be sure to attend at least two events soon! You can learn more about how we work in the Merrimack Valley Young Democrats (MVYD) charter.

We’re here to put on the events, programming, and political activity that you are interested in, so be sure get involved to help shape the organization and share any ideas you may have. Our monthly membership meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.
